About Thad
A northeast Iowa native, Thad grew up on a small farm on the outskirts of West Union. He earned his undergraduate degree in history from Grinnell College before attending the University of Iowa College of Law, graduating with distinction in 2000. He practiced in Davenport for three years and has practiced in Dubuque since 2003. He has also maintained an office in Davenport since 2007. Today he works primarily from Pearson Bollman Law’s Dubuque office and is licensed to practice in Iowa and Illinois. Since 2018, he has served on the Board of Directors of the Iowa Legal Aid Foundation.
Thad lives with his wife and two daughters.
