Areas we serve
We regularly help families along the Mississippi River corridor and near the Iowa–Illinois border, including families who own property or have beneficiaries in both states.
Iowa estates are generally probated in the Iowa District Court for the county where the person lived. Illinois estates go through the Illinois Circuit Court. Illinois also has its own estate tax, which can matter for Illinois residents and property.
You don’t need to live in Dubuque to work with us, and you’re welcome to meet with an attorney at whichever of our six offices is most convenient.
